It also looks pretty good for a Gamecube game technically, with lots of lighting effects in battles, and a fully controllable camera in walking segments. My other big gripe is the cast of characters being completely made up for the game, although there are times where you can control Gandalf, etc for a few battles, which definitely helps make the game more exciting. It gets tedious seeing the same long animations over and over again, but that is helped by continuously gaining new powers, some of which look pretty cool. I am playing The Third Age on Gamecube right now.
